College Credit Plus

St. Vincent-St. Mary High School offers eligible students opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school through Ohio's College Credit Plus (CCP) program and dual enrollment courses offered at STVM.

These opportunities allow college-ready students to challenge themselves with postsecondary coursework, explore areas of academic interest, and begin earning college credit before graduation.

College Credit Plus

College Credit Plus is an optional program available to eligible Ohio students. Through CCP, students may take approved college courses while enrolled in high school and earn college credit upon successful completion.

STVM students may take college courses:

Qualified STVM faculty may be credentialed through partner institutions to teach college-level courses on the STVM campus.
Online through an approved college or university
On a college or university campus
Through other approved course formats offered by participating institutions

Students taking an online college course may be eligible for a study block within their STVM schedule to support completion of their coursework.

Current college and university partnerships and available dual enrollment courses may vary by academic year.

Earning STVM Credit

College coursework must be preapproved by STVM and align with an STVM curriculum or graduation requirement in order to count toward STVM graduation requirements.

Approved courses may earn both high school and college credit.
