Drug and Alcohol Awareness
STVM is committed to maintaining a positive learning environment, one that is safe and healthy for all its students. We are invested in establishing and reinforcing patterns of making health-minded decisions. For this reason have implement a universal drug testing program.
Strength and Conditioning
The goal of the strength and conditioning program is to educate students on training fundamentals, nutrition, recovery and their role in health and performance. Lifting sessions are Monday-Friday from 3:15-4:00 for in-season teams, and 4:15-5:00 for off-season teams. We ask that a sports coach is present at lifting sessions for extra supervision. Director of Health & Wellness
Kyle Burns is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the national strength and conditioning association and has a masters degree from the University of Akron. Kyle was a 4 year varsity wrestler at Ashland University where he was a national qualifier.
Summer training will begin Tuesday June 1. Strength and conditioning sessions will be Monday-Thursday:
Male Athletes: 12:00-1:00
Female Athletes: 1:00-2:00
The goal is to educate students on training fundamentals, nutrition, recovery and their role in health and performance. We will teach technique in strength training and speed/agility and how it impacts performance on the field. This is a great opportunity to develop physical preparation, improve resilience to injuries, increase strength and power, increase speed and agility, improve flexibility and mobility.

Counseling and Advisory
The mission of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School's comprehensive school counseling program is to advocate for an environment that supports high achievement for all students and will empower them to become effective learners, responsible citizens, and productive members of a global workforce.
In collaboration with other educators and families, the counseling program will enable all students to experience educational success by providing preventative and responsive services in the areas of academic, career, and personal-social development to help students reach their full potential.
