  • Assistant Principal for Academics

    PRIMARY PURPOSE:
    The Assistant Principal for Academics envisions STVM's program to be fully integrated and holistic, bringing together everything from academic disciplines to athletics. The Assistant Principal for Academics works daily to oversee and support the ongoing examination and improvement of STVM's educational program and ensures that the school's mission of educational excellence and innovation are fulfilled. The primary work of the Assistant Principal for Academics is to work collaboratively and enthusiastically with the Principal, the Assistant Principal for Student Life, and Department Heads to sustain a school culture that supports faculty, strives for excellence in teaching, embraces communities of learners and a culture of self-reflection, and embraces change and innovation while respecting individual teaching strengths. The Assistant Principal for Academics will lead our school to be learner, rather than teacher, centered and will facilitate work among departments to develop integrated programs that are project based and that allow our students access to the most selective colleges and universities.

  • Director of Advancement

    Position Overview

    Under the direction of the President, the Director of Advancement is responsible for planning and managing all advancement programs of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School including the annual fund, capital funds, planned giving, alumni activities, public relations, and publications. The advancement program will help the school generate the financial resources necessary to fulfill its mission.
     
    The Director carries out this responsibility by appropriate coordination of the time, talent, and energies of his/her own staff, the President and other administrators, the faculty and staff, the Board of Trustees, current parents, alumni parents, grandparents, alumni, and other volunteers.
     
    The Director is responsible for developing a strategic vision for the department.  This vision includes a plan of action for all advancement programs and related activities. Such planning is in part founded upon an annual evaluation of the various advancement programs and related activities for each fiscal year. 
     
    The Director of Advancement will embrace, exemplify, and promote the school’s mission.
     
    The Director will carry out his/her responsibilities through and with the following full-time Advancement team:
    1. Director of Annual Fund and Alumni Relations; 2) Advancement Associate; 3) Advancement Services Manager; and 4) Director of Communications.

  • Principal

    OUR MODEL
    St. Vincent-St. Mary operates under the President-Principal Model. The principal works closely with the President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Enrollment, Director of Advancement and several other departments in support of our mission. The principal is the primary instructional leader of the school. As such, the principal is directly responsible for the academic, co-curricular, counseling and campus ministry programs of the school and will also provide ample opportunity for continuing education for all staff members. The principal has the authority and responsibility for the daily operations of the areas mentioned directly above and includes the setting and implementation of academic policies, procedures, and programs. Additionally, in close collaboration with the President, the principal is expected to help nurture the faith development of the school community by providing opportunities for spiritual growth.

    The principal reports directly to the President who is responsible for the continued fostering of the mission of the school.

  • Strength and Conditioning Coach and Transportation Coordinator

    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning programs for all sports, with the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills.

    The Strength and Conditioning Coach devises training plans according to sound scientific principles, supervises training sessions, evaluates athletes, maintains athlete records, and teaches strength and conditioning classes as needed. The Strength and Conditioning Coach meets regularly with sport coaches to determine what the athletes need to work on. If working with an injured athlete engaged in rehabilitation, the Strength and Conditioning Coach will consult with the sports medicine or athletic training staff. The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for maintaining the strength and conditioning facility, and for establishing policies, plans, and procedures for the safe and professional operation of the facility.

    The Transportation Coordinator will maintain the safe and efficient transportation of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School students while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
