Patti Valle

Technology Assistant/Helpdesk
Serving STVM Since
1987

Mrs. Patti Valle was born and raised in Akron. She attended North High School and The University of Akron. After receiving a B.A. in English and Spanish and a teaching certificate, she started her career at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. After teaching Spanish for 10 years, she retired to stay at home with her children. When they started school, she wanted to come "home" to her St. Vincent-St. Mary family. Returning as a tutor, she helped in the computer lab and ended up turning to technology. Although missing teaching and being in the classroom, she enjoys the challenge of keeping the technology up to the standards of our students' needs. Mrs. Valle has been married 40 years to Mike and has two wonderful children, whom she is proud to say graduated from STVM, Michael (VM03) and Alana (VM06).

"In 1977, at the end of May, I was called to sub in Spanish at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. I thought the students would give me a hard time because I was fresh out of college, it was the last two weeks of school, and I knew they probably did not want to do anything. Well, from the minute I walked through the doors, I fell in love with the students, the faculty, the staff, and the whole Irish Spirit. Every year I have loved it more and more. I could not be anywhere else!"
