Mr. Boarman was born and raised in Copley, Ohio. He attended Copley High School and Kent State University. In 2007, Mr. Boarman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Social Studies Education with a minor in History from Kent State University. After graduating from college, Mr. Boarman was a long-term substitute teacher at Kent Roosevelt High School where he taught 10th grade American History and 11-12th grade Psychology. In 2019, he earned his Master's degree from the University of Akron. In addition to his role as a teacher in the Social Studies department, Mr. Boarman is also the Head Baseball Coach and a Irish Athletes for Christ advisor. Mr. Boarman is married to Emily Buehrle Boarman VM05. They live in Akron with their daughter Sadie and dog Ava.

Coaching Bio

Coach Boarman is entering his 13th year as head coach of the Fighting Irish baseball team, with 14 years involved in the program. Coach Boarman is a graduate of Copley High School and Kent State University and has 16 years of coaching experience in varsity baseball, varsity football and at the college club baseball level.
