Angel Scholarship
The state of Ohio has a way to help direct tax dollars to the school of your choice via the Angel Fund, and it costs you nothing. Individuals can donate $750 ($1500 per married couple) to the Angel Fund and request that those funds be used at the school of their choice. At the end of the year when you file your state income taxes, that $750 comes back to you in the form of a tax credit.
Using the Angel Fund, you are directing a portion of your taxes that Ohio will spend on education, and directing this money to St. Vincent-St. Mary. The money will be used for tuition assistance for those students with the greatest need. This will help STVM meet its fundraising goals and keep tuition affordable. You don't have to have a child attending STVM to be eligible. All Ohio taxpayers can participate.
