High School Transfer Applicants

Transfer Applications for the Following School Year
STVM welcomes transfer applications from current freshmen and sophomores for the following school year. Applications open February 15 for the following year and must be submitted by May 15. We consider transfers for sophomore and junior entry only.

Steps to Apply
  • To apply, you must first create a MyIrish/Blackbaud account. This is required to complete and submit your application. (You may have already created an account if your student has shadowed or attended an Open House. ) If you have not already done so, please complete the inquiry form to create an account. Then, our enrollment department will assign you an application checklist to complete.
  • Once you have created a Blackbaud account, log in to view your student's MyIrish/Admissions Progress.
  • Under Apply to Attend STVM click on the button that says Continue.
  • Select the application titled Transfer Application and begin the application.
  • After submitting the application, don't forget to go back to Admissions Progress and complete the Teacher Recommendation information. 


Required Documents
Please have the following documents ready for upload:
  • Most recent report card from the current school year
  • Final report card from the previous school year
  • Birth certificate or passport
  • Teacher Recommendations: You will be asked to provide the email addresses of two current teachers in English, reading, math, science, social studies, or a language (Spanish, French, etc.). They will receive an email to complete an online recommendation form.
  • Admissions Interview: Once we receive your application, our Enrollment Office will contact you to schedule an interview.
  • Application Fee: There is a $125 transfer application fee.
Admission Criteria
Acceptance to STVM is based on a review of academic records and achievements. We seek hardworking, well-rounded students who lead by example and are eager for the challenges of a Catholic high school education.
