PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Administrator of Student Accounts will ensure tuition contracts are on file, administer and maintain student accounts, actively pursue the timely payment of account balances, and work to collect over-due balances.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Set up tuition accounts for all new and returning families
• Distribute, collect, and file tuition contracts
• Follow up on non-returned tuition contracts
• Assist in collecting State of Ohio Scholarship paperwork from families
• Ensure proper registration and billing
• Monitor student balances
• Pursue collection of past due payments of student accounts in arrears
• Work closely with the CFO regarding arrear balances and missing paperwork
• Maintain regular communication with families via phone, email, and letters
• Ensure student account information is current
• Collaborate with the Director of Tuition Assistance and Scholarships for fund allocation
• Attend registration events
• Work with the Transportation Coordinator to procure transportation contracts and payments
• Review enrollment with the Principal and Academic Administration
• Build relationships with student families and community members
• Manage day-to-day correspondence with families
• Assist the CFO with processing donations
• Assist Enrollment and Advancement with pre-event planning and mailings
• Collect, sort, and deliver mail
• Provide front desk coverage as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma required
• Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Ability to multitask
• Satisfactory work history
• Highly organized with the ability to remain flexible
• Detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively via email and telephone
• Knowledge of office procedures and filing techniques
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google platforms
• Familiarity with Blackbaud software is a plus but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Prolonged sitting
• Regular use of hands and fingers
• Lifting, carrying, and moving work-related supplies and equipment
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally up to 20 lbs
• Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
TRAVEL REQUIRED:• Less than 10%, typically limited to local travel
