Biography

Coach Walter is a 2011 St. Vincent-St. Mary graduate. She played for the STVM Volleyball program for four years as an outside hitter. After high school, she attended Otterbein University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Throughout college and after graduation, she has coached and continues to be active in the club scene with various volleyball club in the Columbus and Akron areas. Coach Walter brings Varsity coaching experience from her time at Thomas Worthington High School (Division I) in Columbus, OH where she coached from 2015-2020. Coach Walter currently works for Battelle Memorial Institute as a Contracts Specialist. Coach Walter comments, “I really enjoy teaching fundamentals and seeing players improve as they tackle new skills. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to be a part of building and growing the volleyball program at STVM. I am very excited to represent the Fighting Irish again and continue to build on their tradition of excellence in the classroom, on the court, and in the community.”
