Biography

Mrs. Gorman attended St. Martha grade school and St. Vincent High School. At the University of Akron, she double majored in French and Spanish, obtained her teaching credentials, and graduated with a B.A. degree. She is a recent retiree from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School after having taught French and Spanish in the World Languages department for 38 years and also having served as department chair and school accreditation co-chair. Her three children attended STVM where they received outstanding preparation to attend some of the finest universities in the country and are now involved in successful careers: Robert (VM86), Jeffrey (VM88), and Rebecca (VM92).
