Mr. Frye grew up in Sarasota Florida and moved to Tallmadge, Ohio when he was 13 years old. He played baseball and basketball in high school. After high school, Mr. Frye attended the University of Mount Union where he played baseball for four years. During his time there, they won a conference championship and played in the NCAA tournament. Mr. Frye graduated with two degrees: one in health and another in physical education with a minor in multi-age education. Mr. Frye started his career at Akron/Canton College Prep then moved on to Warrensville Heights High School where he taught health and weight training. He has coached baseball and basketball since graduating high school. Mr. Frye and his wife Abbie had their “COVID” wedding in April of 2020. They have been married for a little over two years. They do not have any children yet, however, they have a giant baby at home named Groot. He is a Blue Great Dane and is about 6’4 150 pounds. Fun fact: I probably own over 50 pairs of shoes and a hat for every baseball team in the MLB.
