Jazz, Marching, Pep, Symphonic, and Orchestra
Jazz Band
The Jazz Band is made up of students who are also in Marching Band or Symphonic Band. They study various styles of jazz literature and are selected by auditions only.

Meeting Time: Every Tuesday and Thursday 3:15-4:15
Meeting Place: Room 127
Marching Band
The Marching Band consists of very talented and dedicated students. The practice schedule begins in August for the upcoming season. Students are also required to attend a full week of Band Camp where friendships are formed and music and drill designs are learned. The Marching Band plays all types of music from show tunes to pop favorites. The band performs for all football games, for band shows, for parades and various other activities throughout the year.

Pep Band

Meeting Place: Gymnasium
Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band consists mostly of students from the Marching Band and is open to anyone. This group studies standard band literature as well as pop standards. Members of this group will be required to perform at a variety of concerts throughout the year and at various rallies and basketball games. Band members are also encouraged to participate in the OMEA Solo and Ensemble Contest..

Orchestra for Musical Productions
All students are encouraged to audition for a part in the pit orchestra or as an accompanist. The annual musical offers many opportunities for students to be involved in an all-school, full-scale musical production
