STVM Celebrates Black History Month

Feb 25, 2019

Every Friday in February during lunch, STVM recognized the heritage and culture of African Americans in recognition of Black History month. In culmination, our Irish Family enjoyed authentic food generously prepared and provided by Mrs. Annette Bush and friends and music performed by the talented Mr. Patrick Munford.

On Friday, February 22, the St. Vincent-St. Mary school community gathered for an end-of-day assembly to honor the history and culture of African Americans. Led by representatives from Student Council and STVM's Multi-Cultural Club, the assembly featured the STVM Gospel Choir and special guest speaker Mr. Billy Taylor.
