Parris Campbell VM14 Named Ohio State Football Captain

Aug 23, 2017

Leadership runs in our family.

Congratulations to Parris Campbell VM14 for recently being named a captain of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. Campbell is currently a red-shirt junior for the Buckeyes and has excelled on the field as a special teams returner and a wide receiver. Campbell, a 2014 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, had a large impact on the back-to-back state championships for the Irish in 2012 and 2013.

Campbell is also the second STVM alumnus in four years to receive the high honor of team captain for Ohio State. In 2014, Doran Grant VM11 was one of five captains on the Buckeye's National Championship team.

STVM is so proud of Campbell for all that he represents on and off the field. There is no honor that defines him more than being named captain of one of the most respected football programs in the nation. Go Buckeyes!
