Spanish Class Play
Lindsay Bonilla, a story teller from World of Difference, told a Cuban and Puerto Rican folktale to Spanish I and Spanish II students. The name of the tale is "La cucarachita Martina". The show was in Spanish with the participation of some students as actors and actresses.

Spanish Club Salsa Dancing Lesson
The October Spanish Club meeting was particularly special because we had a salsa dance teacher come in to teach the members how to salsa dance. The teacher's name is Maceo Agurcia and he is from Nicaragua. He was accompanied by his dance partner Roxana Moreno from Peru to help teach the lesson. Members had an amazing time working on basic salsa dance steps on their own and even with a dance partner. After trying the dance out for themselves, the Spanish Club members got to sit down and enjoy a delicious snack of beef and chicken empanadas and Inca Kola (a Peruvian soda) while Mr. Agurcia and Ms. Moreno performed their own salsa dancing for the club.

Chinese Club Opera Mask Painting
The Chinese Club painted their own Chinese opera masks. On top of painting them, they also learned a little about the history and meanings behind some of the masks. It was a great time as everyone had very unique designs that really stood out!
