Akron's Art Bomb Brigade and STVM Students Team Up to Beautify Open Lot on Market Street

Apr 15, 2019

Akron's Art Bomb Brigade, a local team of artistic and creative revolutionaries armed with paint brushes and spray cans, have teamed up with St. Vincent-St. Mary students and staff members to beautify a "blank canvas" on STVM's campus. The open grass lot (site of the former transmission shop) that sits on Market Street and next to Hazel Tree Interiors will soon be getting a makeover. In Phase I of the project, the Art Bomb Brigade and STVM students created over 2,000 alcohol splattered ink tiles, which will muralize the concrete wall in the open lot. Within the next few weeks, the mural will be installed for all to enjoy.
