  • A Strong Athletic Tradition

    St. Vincent-St. Mary is not only known for its strong academics, but also for its athletic prowess on the playing field.
The Fighting Irish from Akron, Ohio have brought home over 51 team and individual state championships in 10 different sports, as well as two National Championships. St. Vincent-St. Mary is currently ranked 8th in the State of Ohio for most team State Championships (33). This strong athletic tradition was built by the teams of the past and still continues today.
