Our retreat program at STVM is designed to give our students the important experience of God necessary for a solid and fruitful spiritual formation in Catholic Christianity. The themes of each retreat address important and specific topics in adolescent spiritual formation, such as "Who am I in the eyes of God?", and sexual morality. The freshmen and sophomore retreats are day-long, mandatory experiences conducted at area MetroParks and led by our Peer Ministers. the freshmen retreat focuses on issues regarding self-knowledge in the Divine Presence while the Sophomore retreat centers on issues of sexual morality. The junior retreat is an optional, two-day, overnight experience at Villa Maria Retreat Center in Villa Maria, PA. This retreat gives our juniors an introduction to meditation and contemplation, a component essential to Catholic spirituality, in a beautiful and serene setting.
