Liturgical Choir (Schola)Entrance into this non-auditioned choir is by application only at the beginning of the school year. This choir is comprised of students in grades 9-12 and performs at all school masses and prayer services. Students in this choir receive 25 service hours. MadrigalsStudents must audition to be part of this Renaissance-style choir. Costumes are also required. This ensemble performs all songs a cappella and sings at various events and concerts throughout the school year.. Concert ChoirStudents in this beginning level choir register for the class in the late spring. No auditions are necessary. This choir performs at the annual Christmas and Spring concerts. Symphonic ChoirStudents in this advanced choir also register for class in the late spring. If a student feels that he/she is qualified to be part of this ensemble without taking Concert Choir, he/she must audition with the director before registration. The choir performs at the Christmas and Spring concerts. Show Choir"Irish Melodies" is a mixed vocal ensemble selected by audition only. Auditions take place in the third week of the new school year. The group performs various songs with an emphasis on musical theater and contemporary works. The class includes singing and dancing and meets two days per week.
