The Art Club meets 2 or 3 times per month. Students do not need to be enrolled in an art class to belong to the club. Art Club members participate in many interesting activities throughout the year, including: Congratulations to the 2007-2008 Art Club OfficersPresident: Rachel Munka Art Achievement AwardSTVM presented the Art Achievement Award to senior, Valedictorian and outstanding artist, Bridget Nickel, who will attend the University of Cincinnati to major in Industrial Design on a Full Presidential Scholarship. Bridget and her sister Mary (VM03) received a gift package that included airfare, hotel accommodations and passes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It was a perfect ending to her successful high school career. Art Club AwardRachel Munka received the award for all her hard work and many hours of participation in last years activities. She received a tuition voucher of $200.0 and is this year's Art Club President. Congratulations! The Senior Art Club Award went to Martin Alvord who was very involved in all aspects of our club for four years. He was a crucial part in designing our club t-shirt, worked on the senior mural, was always helping out with the many activities and even illustrated a book for Children's Hospital titled, "Pedro's Adventures with Fire Safety."
