Students interested in the Announcement team give their name to Mrs. DeGrand or one of the existing crew. Members can recommend others for the crew. Six is a good maximum number. The crew alternates between reading the announcements and running the camera. The announcements are seen on class room TV during home room each morning. We meet each morning at the start of school (8:00). The announcement room becomes the home room for the students once they join. The crew can be asked to assist in setting up audio/visual technology for assemblies during their study halls or home room time. If students are interested in video production or broadcasting this is a good place to see if would be a fit.
