STVM Boys Basketball Team Brings Home Record Tying 7th OHSAA State Championship
On Saturday, March 25, the Boys Basketball team won their seventh State Championship, defeating Wauseon 45-30 for the Division II title. STVM Students Excel at District Science Day
On Saturday, March 18, the 69th Western Reserve District 5 Science Fair was held at the University of Akron with 262 students competing from Northeastern Ohio. STVM had 26 students judged at the fair and 18 have qualified to move on to State Science Day in Columbus, on May 14.

Boys Basketball Wins 14th Regional Title; Will Play Trotwood Madison in the Semi-Finals

STVM Mock Trial Earns Top Spot in Ohio Competition
Congratulations to the STVM Mock Trial Team that was a finalist in the Ohio Council for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) State Competition on March 9-11 in Columbus Ohio. STVM Shines at the Northeastern Ohio Science and Engineering Fair
The 64th Annual Northeastern Ohio Science and Engineering Fair was held at John Carroll University, the week of March 6, 2017. This is a three day event, where over 500 students, from 80 schools, in northeast Ohio compete for over $20,000 in awards and the chance to move on to the ISEF National science fair.

The St. Vincent-St. Mary High School Model United Nations Team made history this past weekend at the Washington Area Model United Nations Conference (WAMUNC) hosted by George Washington University. The Team competed against teams from around the United States and 9 Countries.
STVM Senior Mitchell Adamczyk Named a 2017 National Merit Scholarship Finalist
St. Vincent-St. Mary is excited to announce that senior Mitchell Adamczyk has been named as a Finalist in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program! Mitchell is among one percent of high school students in the United States to be awarded this honor. This year, 15,000 finalists were named in the National Merit Scholarship competition.

Five STVM Students Help Rebuild Ravaged New Orleans Homes Through the LeBron James Family Foundation
Five STVM students traveled to New Orleans during the NBA All-Star weekend to help rebuild ravaged homes in New Orleans through the LeBron James Family Foundation. Seniors Ross Faetanini, Nando Zegarra and Juniors Brandanae Davis, Russell Cooper, and Madalyn Morse made the trip to help out those that are less fortunate. St. Vincent-St. Mary Mock Trial Team Qualifies for State Competition
Congratulations to the St. Vincent-St. Mary Mock Trial Team! They are heading to State! Our team competed in regional competition on Friday, February 10th at the Summit County Courthouse and earned their place in the state competition in Columbus on March 9-11.
STVM Academic Challenge Team Qualifies for National Competition
On Saturday, February 11, STVM sent two teams of students to The Great Lakes Regional Academic Challenge Tournament at John Carroll University. Both teams made it into the playoffs with one team winning the overall tournament!
