STVM Endowment Family & Memorial Scholarship Program
Through the generosity of our alumni, families, and friends, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is proud to make available Family & Memorial Scholarships to students. Scholarship awards from the STVM Endowment help make a Catholic education at STVM more affordable for our students. The scholarships are customized according to the donor's wishes and have unique criteria. Additionally, the Mary E. Flynn Family Scholarship funds in part the four-year academic scholarships based solely on the incoming freshman placement exam which will be administered each autumn.
Scholarships are available to current students of St. Vincent - St. Mary High School as well as to incoming freshmen. Students may select and apply for as many scholarships for which they meet the criteria. Scholarship recipients are invited to attend an annual reception in May. Scholarship conditions and availability are subject to the Endowment Board’s decision.
Endowment Board
Established in 1983, the St. Vincent - St. Mary High School Endowment is a fund that receives contributions, gifts, and bequests to be used for the support and aid of students. Funds disbursed from Endowment support STVM students through tuition assistance and scholarships. The Endowment assets are prudently invested by the trustees which has meant growth in the funds and the ability for the Endowment to increase the annual disbursement. Charitable donations made to the Endowment are gifts that last and continue to give back to STVM. The STVM Endowment is a measure of the school’s long-term stability and financial viability because it provides ongoing income and flexibility for the school on an annual basis.
