 DAN LANCIANESE Dan Lancianese begins his 18th year as Head Coach of the Fighting Irish Track Team. Coach Lancianese has 32 years coaching experience and reflects on the past season: “The Fighting Irish Track team was impressive in the Spring 2011 season. The Boys qualified in 8 events and advanced to the state championships. They placed in 7 out of 8 events. The Boys Team made Irish history with their first ever state championship as a team. The Girls qualified in 8 events and advanced to the state championship and placed in seven events. The Girls Team finished in 3 rd overall as a team.” Coach Lancianese and his wife, Rita Sferra Lancianese VM81 (Head of STVM Art Department), reside in Green and have three children: Angela Augustine VM99, Anthony VM00 and Dominic (future Class of VM20). |
