 CHRIS MINEAR Coach Chris Minear enters his 3rd season as the Head Coach of the Lady Irish Golf team. Coach Minear is a graduate of The University of Akron with Degrees in Marketing and Advertising and was a four-year letterman for the golf team. Coach Minear’s experience includes 8 years as a golf professional at The Congress Lake Club, played in Hogan Tour events and regional mini-tours, as well as a public member of the Shaw Cup team. Coach Minear comments, “Last season was very successful but we still have lofty goals to attain. The girls have worked very hard in the off-season and we will strive to get better each and every day. This team will make STVM very proud. Go Irish!” Coach Minear is assisted by John Noethen V71 who is beginning his 5th year as Assistant Coach. Coach John graduated from The University of Akron in 1975 and is a life-long golfer who plays in many amateur and charity events. Coach John lives in Akron with his wife, Meg and two daughters: Michelle VM13 and Emma VM15. Coach Minear resides in Akron with his wife, Jenny and their two daughters: Sarah and Abigail.
