The Irish Crusader Award

Congratulations to the 2011 Irish Crusader Award Recipient:
Pamela “Pam” Godshalk

The STVM Alumni Association is pleased to present the introduction of the Irish Crusader Award. The Irish Crusader Award has been created to recognize those living individuals who are not graduates of St. Mary, St. Vincent or St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, but who play an active and important role in the day-to-day running of our school and special events. The Alumni Association recognizes that the efforts of our non-alumni are integral to the success of our school.

The Alumni Association Scholarship Award applications will be mailed in January 2012 to the current STVM Junior Class.

For five consecutive years, the Alumni Association has had the privilege of awarding annual scholarships to members of the junior class. The Alumni Association Scholarship is then applied toward their senior year tuition.

The scholarship is funded by association dues as well as contributions made to the scholarship fund through the Father Thomas F. Mahar Outstanding Alumni Awards program.

To be eligible to apply, students must have one or both parents who are a graduate of St. Mary, St. Vincent, or St. Vincent-St. Mary High Schools. In addition, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 through the first semester of their junior year.

This year the STVM Alumni Association was able to award three students with scholarships.  The recipients are featured in the photo below:
