Health, Physical Education and Family Studies

In our society, choices made by young people greatly mold and affect their future. Our department provides educational challenges in the areas of body, mind and soul to inspire students to take a healthy direction in their lives. Families give us our foundation and provide security, love and protection. The investigation of today and tomorrow's citizens requires a reflection on the role our relationships take in society based on wise, educated decision making. Respecting life, nurturing it from womb to tomb, is our focus.

With the opening of the Cosgrove Center, our newest addition to the school campus, we are pleased and proud to have an additional facility for our many programs. The new gymnasium is providing opportunities for a practice facility, an activity center, a venue for social events, and  the availability to expand our intramurals program. Serving challenges of the present and planning for  the future, our department provides today’s students with  opportunities to become even more contributing members of the St. Vincent St. Mary community and for their futures.
