Our Capital Campaign is led by Bill Costigan and Leo Walter III, Co-Chairs. Each brings a unique set of skills, as well as a strong commitment to the traditions and values of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. They are the perfect combination to help us reach out to alumni, parents, corporations, organizations and foundations to Share the Vision for the future of our school. David Brennan serves as Honorary Chairman.

BILL COSTIGAN
Co-Chair
 

Graduating from St. Vincent High School in 1967, Bill Costigan Jr., is one of many dedicated alumni whose family tree is firmly planted at STVM. Beginning with his father, Bill Costigan Sr.V38, and including brothers DickVM70 and JerryVM77, Bill Jr., has also seen his sons BillVM02 and AndyVM04 pass through our doors. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives round out the Costigan family 60-year history.

Mr. Costigan is Business Development Manager of Corporate Express, worldwide distributor of office products and furniture. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science and business from The University of Akron, as well as a law degree from the UA School of Law. An Akron resident, he is a member of the STVM Alumni Board, the Summit County Workforce Development Board and the St. Vincent De Paul Society.

Since the beginning of the Capital Campaign, much work has taken place, and I am excited to build upon the momentum,” said Mr. Costigan .

 

 


 

As a graduate of the St. Vincent-St. Mary High School class of 1976, Leo G. Walter III is part of a long family history comprising three generations. His father, as well as nine aunts and uncles, all graduated from STV. Together with his wife, Mary Ann, Mr. Walter has more than 75 family members who attended or are attending STV or STVM, including their four children, Julie (Class of 1999), Colleen (Class of 2001), Leo (Class of 2005) and Cory (Class of 2007). Mr. and Mrs. Walter were also co-chairs for this year’s Showcase Auction.

Mr. Walter is executive vice president of the Akron office for Aon Risk Services, Inc. of Ohio. He graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor of science degree in finance. He is an active community volunteer, having served as a member and former trustee of the Akron Jaycees, former president of the Parish Council of St. Vincent Church, former trustee and treasurer of the STVM Endowment Board and past president and current member of the STVM Alumni Association. He has also been a Catholic Youth Organization coach for more than 25 years.

DAVID BRENNAN
Honorary Chairman
 

Alumnus David Brennan (V49) and his wife, Ann, share a long history of involvement with St Vincent-St. Mary High School. Through the years, the entire STVM community has been blessed by their incredible generosity and commitment to our school.

As a noted educational activist and author, Mr. Brennan has influence beyond the walls of STVM. He is founder of White Hat Management, a professional educational services firm that helps institute and maintain charter elementary schools and LifeSkills high schools. A renowned attorney, industrialist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, he is the chairman of Brennan Industrial Group, Inc., and the Brenlin Group, Inc. He is also co-founder of the law firm Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC.

As the proud parents of four children, David and Ann Brennan share the joys of 10 grandchildren.
