> ADMISSIONS POLICY
St. Vincent-St. Mary has an open admissions
policy. Students of any race, religion, nationality and ethnic origin
are admitted and accorded all rights, privileges, programs, and
activities through school admissions policies, scholarships, athletics
and other school-administered programs. Applicants’ official
records are reviewed and evaluated by the Academic Admissions Committee.
All applicants are reviewed on academic, attendance and behavioral
records; past achievement; standardized test scores and the applicant’s
desire to attend STVM.
> GRADING POLICY
We use a 4.0 grading scale with Honors and
Advanced Placement courses being weighted in the major academic
areas. For example, an “A” earned in an Honors course
equates to a 4.5 rather than a 4.0. Grade point average includes
all courses taken and awarded toward graduation. Honors courses
are available in all grade levels.
