Team America Rocketry Challenge

The STVM Team America Rocketry Challenge(Rocket Team) is a member of the National Competition.  This competition team works together to design and build model rockets and then competes in local qualifying events seeking to advance to the national competitions. The team is sponsored by National Machine Co. of Stow, Ohio.

DESCRIPTION OF THE STVM TEAM AMERICA ROCKETRY CHALLENGE

Each year the competition criteria changes but the most recent competition included: Design a 1 stage rocket that will carry one raw chicken egg up 850 feet and return to earth unbroken in as close to 45 seconds as possible.
