STVM Leads the Way in Science Education
Welcome to the online home of the Center for Science & Technology at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. The Center, which opened in the fall of 2004, is the culmination of years of planning and hard work to build STVM into a premier center for inquiry-based learning using state-of-the-art technology. The unique science inquiry method of teaching is helping our students develop vital problem solving and critical thinking skills. The new Center for Science & Technology is unlike any other area facility because it features a Distance Learning Lab that enables our students to participate in a much more interactive, hands-on manner, as they perform experiments and analyze data, while collaborating with other students and researchers worldwide. The new Center also features an Inquiry Lab, Internet Research Lab and Computer Writing Lab outfitted with the latest technology.
