| Through wireless technology, students can participate in classes, practical lessons, experiments, guest lectures and virtual field trips held at remote locations, including The University of Akron, NASA, the Smithsonian Institution, museums, libraries, various science centers and other facilities worldwide. The Distance Learning Lab includes widescreen
monitors, multiple computer stations, a SMART Board and other state-of-the-art
technology to enable our students to collaborate with other
students and scientists. This lab also maximizes our Partners
in Progress program with The University of Akron by allowing
future science teachers to observe the science
inquiry method in practice at STVM. Our students benefit from
